Our Story

From Our Family
DEL Industries was founded in 1938 by my grandfather, Elmer Mylius. It was primarily a machine shop in the oil industry. In the late 1940’s DEL manufactured its first packaging machine, and in 1977 we incorporated as DEL Packaging. Today, DEL offers a wide-variety of packaging machinery models to choose from.

Over the years, the DEL name has become synonymous with quality, value and innovation in the packaging machinery industry. We attribute this to our commitment to lasting relationships with our customers and the superior reliability and performance of our systems.

At Del Packaging Machinery, we take great pride in our work. Our incredible team of people stand behind every system engineered, fabricated and installed. We partner with our customers by supplying spare parts, service and support throughout the lifetime of their machines.

A New Chapter with ACASI

In June of 2025, Del Packaging Ltd. was acquired by Isaac Possin of ACASI Machinery Inc. and is now under the name of Del Packaging Machinery. Isaac is committed to continuing the Del legacy of quality, reliability, and on-time delivery. In addition, this acquisition will expand our manufacturing capabilities empowering Del to continue selling high quality packaging machinery at a more competitive price. As President of Del Packaging Machinery, I am very excited about working with Isaac and the ACASI team.

We engineer and build each system in-house, allowing us the ability to oversee the entire process from beginning to end. Del Packaging Machinery provides our customers with first-hand, real-time information from the initial quote to the installation of the equipment.

A DEL system will perform efficiently for many years. Typically, our systems maintain up to 40% of their value, even after 10 to 15 years of continual use. We build every piece of equipment with the highest quality of materials and workmanship.
